I am the underdog, the day I cease being one is the day we will all win. I am constantly battling bad guys and demons but I always come up on top. Cause they always think they have my number until I switch networks and go crazy. I am a crazy motherfucker, I am from the hood. I don't care about looking good, I'll crush you like teeth coming together on food. I am the underdog, the day I bring down Goliath is the day we'll reign. Impressive propaganda, but it's all in the mind and on my way. The hero's journey concludes today with the underdog the hero of this play. I've beaten everyone who we were the same, my heroes next because this is a game. Underdog with a tendency to stand with my dawgs, if we stand together than we are united my dawgs, winning and slicing the pie with all of my dawgs, if we all eating then all is good my dawg. Underdog with the tendency to cause an upset, leave you cheering for the bad guy cause your hero left you upset. Underdog, after I win this battle then the game is gonna need a reset. I crash reality like a program that needs a reset. Time closing in on you it's a sunset. Underdog until we are in the ring face to face, and I smash your face in resulting in the judge throwing your case. Cause you were complicit, now you claiming to have stood idle like a vase. Underdog until my hands are raised high and your back on the floor. Underground until I raise hell and leave things in tatters like before. Underdog until I shake up reality to the core. Underdog until I am no longer one any more.

Carmen At Joburg Theatre for the opening of "Carmen", full house, mature demographic. Always wanted to go the opera since "The Godfather". It has that appeal, the voices, drama, emotion, gusto, heritage and culture.  I love this form of storytelling, they sing dialogue, less to do with words and more about emotion, feeling and execution. Sing your heart out, be expressive and articulate, take your time, the stage is yours. The opera is sung in French and  English subtitles to translate, it helped with continuity and following the story. Don't have the vocabulary to describe the voices, such beauty, heavenly is my attempt. The choruses are mezmarrizing, in sync, perfect delivery and immersion in the current moment. In flow and in love with what they were doing. You have to have a voicebox, good pipes and deliver high notes. Tone deaf and you don't have a chance! Even when they were laughing, they were in tune. A Star is Born Reverse engineering, what's the last thing you see after a Amanda Bothma show? Standing ovation, people on their feet, clapping their hands enthusiastically. A lukewarm response is unfathomable. Using a Star Wars anology, the force forces you to stand elevated. It's an appreciation thing for what you have just witnessed on the stage. Her shows are a prime example of finesse. It's the writing, it's witty, biographical and humanizes the subjects to make them relatable, the writing has a lot feeling and emotion. The experience coops in your mind like a cacoon and you leave the show feeling like a butterfly. Almost witchcraft, it keeps you in a trance where you are at her mercy but then she strings you along a roller coaster ride and the end result is just satisfying. In search of lost time Easily one of the greatest books of all time. It follows the life of the author and his experiences throughout his life. "In search of lost time" covers the subjects of Love, homosexuality, death, old age, art, the Dreyfus case, social conventions, politics, family, friends, the war and lost time. It is such a masterpiece. If only I could write like Proust. He writes like a detailed painting. You can see the brush strokes in his words. You can see the different hues. His words are passionate and full of life like Spring. His words are so vivid, they evoke feelings and transport you to his time. He describes everything in its smallest detail. He is reflective and honest. He can make you laugh and he can make you sad. He makes you reflect about your life, your decisions, your future. He makes you see how tragic life really is.
